The refurbishment of Croxley Skate Park starts tomorrow.
Planning permission was given last week, and as autumn rains threaten, work has to start immediately. It does mean it knocks the skate park out for the half term, though if it is a rainy week that should not be too hard on the vigorous youth of the village
The works should finish by the end of February, weather permitting, given us a new Skate Park for the spring.
There will be signs up at the Skate Park about the closure and its timescales and (for those who are keen to get out skateboarding even in the driving rain) the locations of the nearest alternative skate parks.
