A healthy morning out on Croxley Common Moor today, ‘scrub-bashing’ with the Friends of Croxley Common Moor.
The moor is a beautiful place for Croxley to have, but it is not static. The landscape has been shaped by the hand of man, and without management, it would lose the variety of wildlife it has beneath chocking weeds, and then we would not have it to enjoy.
The work of the volunteers here in their regular work sessions is dedicated, hard and well worthwhile. It is Croxley’s resource and bending our back to the task will keep it that way.
